This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

• Oversee the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of SaaS and commercial contracts.

• Assist in the contracting processes with both suppliers and customers.

• Take full responsibility for negotiating enterprise-level customer contracts.

• Participate in customer calls and meetings to provide support to Sales and Customer Success teams.

• Offer advice on matters related to intellectual property ownership and licensing.

• Provide insights on privacy and data protection regulations within a SaaS framework.

• Manage and enhance customer-facing templates and online terms consistently.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of our SaaS product offerings.

• Handle a diverse and demanding workload efficiently.

• Establish strong relationships with Sales, Customer Success, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Apply sound legal judgment and contribute to overarching legal and compliance initiatives.

• Licensed attorney with a valid practising certificate (or its equivalent).

• Over 5 years of post-qualification experience gained in a reputable law firm and in-house setting.

• Background in commercial contracting, ideally with a focus on technology or SaaS, or a keen interest in developing expertise in this area.

• Interest or experience with privacy and data protection topics.

• Experience in in-house legal operations or contract management is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
