Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Provide daily legal assistance across commercial, corporate, regulatory, and operational issues.

• Draft, assess, negotiate, and oversee commercial agreements, such as B2B customer contracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and other industry-specific contracts.

• Aid in contract negotiations with online casino operators, aggregators, platform providers, and other iGaming partners.

• Offer advice on legal and regulatory issues pertinent to the online gambling and casino games sector.

• Track regulatory changes across relevant jurisdictions and evaluate their potential impact on the business.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Commercial, Finance, Product, and senior management teams.

• Assist with corporate governance and general legal requirements for the company.

• Help with intellectual property, data protection, and other legal concerns.

• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory advisors as necessary.

• Identify legal and contractual risks while providing practical and commercially focused guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with pertinent professional legal experience.

• Prior experience in the iGaming sector is essential, preferably with a B2B supplier, casino games provider, platform, aggregator, or operator.

• Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.

• Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape surrounding online gambling.

• Capability to work independently and manage a wide array of legal issues within an international business context.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to provide practical solutions rather than solely theoretical legal advice.

• Exceptional written and spoken English is mandatory.

• A good understanding of the Russian language is required.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Comfortable working remotely in a dynamic and international environment.
