Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and negotiate various commercial agreements, such as service contracts, software licenses, SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and partnership contracts.

• Offer practical and succinct legal counsel on commercial and contractual issues to internal stakeholders.

• Work in conjunction with sales, product, and operations teams to create and implement contract templates and processes aimed at minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance.

• Assist the legal team in the upkeep and modernization of internal policies and procedures.

• Provide occasional support with matters related to intellectual property and litigation under supervision.

• Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes pertinent to the industry and offer proactive recommendations to maintain compliance.

• Aid the legal team in various ad-hoc legal projects and initiatives as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed legal professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing commercial contracts, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment.

• Commercially minded problem solver with experience collaborating with sales and procurement teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Strong organizational abilities and a track record of meeting deadlines.

• Proactive, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, comfortable working in a remote setting.

• Proficient in providing advice on employment law across various jurisdictions.
