Legal Case Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assist the team in maintaining a reliable and precise workflow management system.

• Evaluate, summarize, and organize medical, employment, business, and other documents related to cases.

• Ensure comprehensive case records by following up on document requests and materials related to damages.

• Update information in the Case Management System.

• Analyze case records to identify critical facts, aiding attorneys in the development and investigation of cases.

• Engage with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and necessary supporting documents.

• Provide support for mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation, including the creation of damages summaries and assembling case materials.

• Monitor litigation and discovery deadlines, track case progress, and assist in overall case management.

• Coordinate service of process, prepare witness summaries, and organize exhibits.

• Draft discovery requests, prepare subpoenas, and assist with responses to discovery and document productions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in supporting litigation matters or working within a litigation setting is advantageous.

• Capable of following directions effectively while showing initiative and a readiness to ask for clarification when necessary.

• Maintains a professional, courteous, and client-centered approach in all interactions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Demonstrates empathy and compassion when communicating with individuals who may be in stressful or emotional situations.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with good judgment on when to escalate issues or involve other team members.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
