Legal Case Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Prepare draft discovery requests, assist with subpoenas, and support discovery responses and document productions.

• Review, summarize, and organize medical, employment, business, and other documents related to cases.

• Monitor litigation and discovery deadlines, track case developments, and aid in overall case management.

• Follow up on requests for documents and materials related to damages to ensure comprehensive case records.

• Provide consistent and accurate support to the team in managing workflows.

• Assist in preparation for mediation, arbitration, and trial, including compiling damages summaries and case materials.

• Update the Case Management System as needed.

• Coordinate the service of process, prepare summaries of witnesses, and organize exhibits.

• Analyze case files, identify critical facts, and support attorneys in case development and investigations.

• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and necessary documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in supporting litigation matters or working within a litigation context is preferred.

• Capable of following directions effectively while showing initiative and a readiness to seek clarification when needed.

• Maintains a professional, courteous, and client-focused attitude in all interactions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Empathetic and compassionate when engaging with individuals who may be going through stressful or emotional circumstances.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with good judgment on when to escalate issues or involve additional team members.
