Learning Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a consultant for assigned clients, managing the entire learning cycle, resources, and deliverables to address client learning needs.

• Responsible for the delivery of training to internal client groups, ensuring the development of well-trained and competent employees.

• Collaborate proactively with assigned clients and Team Leads to implement a training and delivery strategy tailored to client requirements.

• Conduct instructor-led, blended learning, WebEx, and various training programs for assigned client groups, which may include: Retail banking (Teller, Mentor Teller program, Personal Banker, Branch Manager, etc.), Commercial Banking, Mortgage, Leadership Development, Technology and Learning Support, and other specialty banking divisions or programs.

• Oversee the program and employee training experience, including handling enrollments, resolving issues, managing communications, and implementing a measurement plan.

• Monitor and ensure that training programs remain current, including updates to procedures, manuals, and online content.

• Organize and deliver onboarding training for existing employees, new hires, and those related to mergers and acquisitions.

• Provide coaching to leaders and trainees, ensuring that learning objectives are met.

• Participate in client meetings to stay informed about client strategies, initiatives, and changes.

• Maintain effective communication, coordination, and working relationships across the organization.

• Execute coordination tasks as needed, including course communication and scheduling, room usage and setup, and all necessary preparations for training events.

• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), which includes loading courses, generating reports, monitoring assignment statuses and completions, and ensuring data accuracy.

• Define and report on key metrics in alignment with client learning plans.

• Manage help desk tickets and respond to inquiries received through the L&D inbox.

• May involve designing training programs or performing other training-related tasks as required or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of banking experience.

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to effectively convey information and concepts using various learning methods.

• Exceptional classroom facilitation and presentation skills, including both verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.

• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills, with a focus on follow-up and follow-through.

• Capability to provide formal and informal coaching to employees, managers, and teams concerning development and performance improvement.

• Proficient technical skills with the ability to utilize audio-visual equipment and technology effectively.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, along with experience in database management.

• Ability to create training materials such as leader’s guides, participant workbooks, and visual learning aids.
