This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and produce facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, exercises, coaching guides, blended learning solutions, and e-learning modules.
• Create knowledge resources tailored for front-line staff.
• Assess, evaluate, and enhance both existing and new training programs and materials.
• Facilitate training sessions in classroom and virtual formats, covering onboarding through ongoing development and refresher courses.
• Develop training curricula and schedules aimed at clients.
• Onboard both employees and contingent workers.
• Create and deliver standardized training on systems and processes.
• Travel to various UBC locations and/or client-hosted sites as necessary.
• Assess training effectiveness with participants and management.
• Review performance records to identify areas needing retraining.
• Address training requests from leadership and quality assurance.
• Create, maintain, and update training programs and materials to reflect system or process changes.
• Provide customized program training and oversee practical exercises.
• Document and maintain training records and archives.
• Conduct research, author, publish, and manage process-related documents using authoring tools.
• Collaborate with departments, business owners, subject matter experts, internal clients, and IT on procedures, user acceptance testing, system builds, and interactive learning solutions.
• Support improvements in documentation flow and revisions to training-related SOPs.
• Establish partnerships with internal and external clients to determine competency and training needs.
• Implement and support strategic business initiatives from a learning perspective.
• Assist projects with business partners, Directors, and Managers.
• Stay updated on developments in training and instructional design, recommending curriculum adjustments as necessary.
• Tackle complex problems and offer solutions to challenging technical project issues.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of essential tools and learning requirements.
• Engage in both in-person and virtual meetings and events.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, training, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree.
• Experience in an operations or business environment.
• Certification in facilitation, adult learning, or project management experience is preferred.
• Ability to inspire employees and provide strategic guidance.
• Capability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a substantial workload.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Emphasis on patient and client satisfaction.
• Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and both verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to create supporting documentation.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and methodologies.
• Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Preferred experience with e-learning authoring tools, HTML, and knowledge management systems.
• Preferred experience in conducting needs analysis and understanding operational application functionality.
• Ability to devise customized strategies and tactics for effective training delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
