This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Deliver consultative support to Learning & Development (L&D) and business operations leaders, making recommendations regarding training strategies, design methodologies, training distribution, and the assessment/evaluation of training content.
• Engage in projects aimed at aligning learning and development solutions with key business priorities.
• Offer training, guidance, and leadership for team members, while assessing program effectiveness through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with business leaders.
• Perform comprehensive business and training needs analysis for large groups and departmental initiatives to identify optimal learning solutions and work phases.
• Review existing training programs and utilize industry methodologies to design programs and readiness strategies tailored to the unique needs of each project or business area, aligning with strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Oversee the strategy, design, and development of new and ongoing education courses and curricula for both formal and informal training solutions, employing various methods to ensure effective learning for both new and experienced team members.
• Provide mentorship and skill development opportunities within the learning and development team, supporting peers at all levels.
• Assess and anticipate team capacity while offering prioritization guidance to guarantee timely deliverables to stakeholders.
• Act as a business partner to leadership, project teams, change management office, and stakeholders throughout the organization to facilitate learning and development deliverables connected to the business strategy.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify key stakeholders and carry out gap analyses to evaluate business readiness, providing recommendations on learning solutions and avenues for continuous improvement.
• Conduct research, analyze data trends, identify root causes, and supply information to business or project teams to initiate training actions, ensuring that departmental goals are met.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Instructional Design or Andragogy.
• Change Management or Project Management Certification is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of relevant, progressive experience in Learning & Development (L&D).
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training methodologies, with demonstrated experience in developing training for adults in a business context.
• Excellent design and development skills to create training outputs through various methods, coupled with the ability to effectively deliver training sessions, facilitate group discussions, and engage participants with varying skill levels.
• Practical experience in conducting research, strategic planning, and data gathering and analysis, integrating reports and data to support learning strategies.
• Strong familiarity with various program evaluation and performance measurement systems and tools, as well as managing partnerships with external vendors.
• Previous experience in providing coaching and strategic guidance across multiple stakeholder groups to successfully drive learning and development programs from ideation to implementation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with digital adoption platforms (e.g., WhatFix, WalkMe) is required.
• At least 5 years of experience using Articulate is required.
• Advanced proficiency with the MSOffice suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, and other learning tools is required.
