Lead/Senior Software Engineer – Full stack

β€’ Take charge of the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive platform capabilities encompassing frontend, backend, and data layers.

β€’ Make informed architectural choices and promote best practices within the engineering team.

β€’ Deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

β€’ Foster innovation through the integration of AI technologies.

β€’ Enhance engineering workflows for improved efficiency.

β€’ Ensure that platform capabilities result in measurable product value.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Extensive experience in full stack development utilizing React, Next.js (App Router), Node.js, and TypeScript.

β€’ Demonstrated expertise in frontend architecture, including SSR, ISR, caching, and performance optimization.

β€’ Solid backend development experience in creating REST APIs and backend-for-frontend (BFF) services.

β€’ Experience in designing and managing PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.

β€’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and deployment tools (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub).

β€’ Strong comprehension of system architecture, scalability, and distributed systems.

β€’ Experience in implementing authentication and authorization models (e.g., Auth0, RBAC).

β€’ Significant experience with modern UI frameworks, including Tailwind, component libraries, and design systems.

β€’ Proven experience integrating third-party services and enterprise platforms.

β€’ Understanding of security best practices, secrets management, and compliance requirements.

β€’ Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

β€’ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.

β€’ Essential to have robust commercial experience in full stack software engineering.

β€’ A degree in Computer Science or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.

β€’ Candidates must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence is required.

β€’ Satisfactory vetting and reference checks are necessary.

β€’ UK Security Clearance is mandatory.
