This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Consistently achieve revenue targets, ensuring the company's financial goals and objectives are met each quarter and annually.
• Accurately project quarterly and yearly revenue figures for the designated region.
• Oversee sales activities within the assigned territory, establish expectations, provide mentorship, prioritize initiatives, and hold the team accountable.
• Mentor the sales team to identify customer needs, cultivate champions, present tailored use cases, demonstrate the value of Splunk products and services, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Over 10 years of experience in direct and channel enterprise software sales to large enterprises.
• Experience with subscription, SaaS, or cloud software while working with enterprise accounts.
• Exceptional leadership and influencing capabilities.
• Proficient in business planning and diligent in tracking and communicating progress towards the established plan.
• Proven success in adapting to fast-paced and evolving environments.
• More than 3 years of experience in building and managing front-line sales teams.
• A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas both personally and as a sales leader.
• Relevant software experience in areas such as IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, security, business applications, and/or analytics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective executive-level presentations.
• Familiarity with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is advantageous.
