Lead Virtual Fulfillment Tax Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Recruit, interview, and onboard seasonal Virtual Tax Professionals.

• Provide training on tax policies, transcript analysis, virtual platforms, and workflow systems.

• Create, oversee, and adjust team schedules to meet coverage and performance objectives.

• Monitor attendance, productivity, and adherence to virtual work expectations.

• Evaluate performance metrics and deliver prompt coaching and feedback.

• Promote a collaborative and inclusive virtual work atmosphere.

• Offer technical tax support and advice on intricate tax scenarios.

• Assist associates in interpreting IRS transcripts and uncovering resolution opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with Internal Revenue Service regulations and company standards.

• Address client escalations and facilitate virtual service delivery as required.

• Lead a remote team of Virtual Tax Professionals dedicated to resolving complex tax issues while ensuring accurate tax outcomes, consistent client experiences, and high team performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Capability to effectively lead, inspire, and coach remote teams.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Experience in serving clients within a virtual or remote setting.

• Flexibility to work extended or varied hours during the seasonal period.

• Minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps.

• Supervisory or leadership experience.

• A minimum of 3 years in tax preparation and/or tax research.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

• Preferred: Circular 230 credential (attorney, EA, or CPA).

• Preferred: Experience in leading remote teams.
