This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide technical and delivery leadership across various Scrum teams.

• Drive execution, accountability, and uphold engineering excellence.

• Act as a primary technical leader for intricate issues.

• Assist teams in translating business requirements and architectural guidance into actionable solutions.

• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, product teams, SRE, security, infrastructure, and other internal and external technology groups.

• Identify and eliminate technical and organizational barriers.

• Manage dependencies and facilitate the resolution of complex issues.

• Offer hands-on technical guidance on solution strategies, application architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and engineering practices.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, engineering standards, and technology strategy.

• Advocate for the adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and methodologies.

• Promote the responsible and secure application of AI throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, modernization, automation, technical debt reduction, application reliability, and operational excellence.

• Utilize independent judgment on complex technology and delivery matters.

• Convey technical complexities as clear actions and business outcomes to engineering teams, business partners, external teams, and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of project leadership experience.

• At least 5 years of experience with technologies utilized in the applications or infrastructure.

• Proficient in unit testing and mocking.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to senior leaders.

• Advanced experience in leading special projects and generating metrics, measurements, and trend reports.

• A passion for continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• Experience in leveraging AI-enabled tools and advocating for responsible AI adoption.

• Over 5 years of experience with Node.js, Kafka, Azure Cloud, Vue.js, and JavaScript.

• Reliable internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

• An MBA or another advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to manage large-scale, highly visible programs with oversight of multiple project teams is preferred.

• A solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes is preferred.

• Six Sigma certification is preferred.

• ITIL certification is preferred.
