This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serves as a technical authority for protective relay settings and coordination studies.
• Organizes, plans, executes, and/or oversees specific phases of assigned project tasks.
• Conducts short-circuit and symmetrical component analyses.
• Offers technical mentorship to fellow engineers.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Must have graduated from an ABET accredited program or possess an equivalent qualification.
• A PE License is necessary or the capability to secure one within one year of starting.
• A minimum of 7-9 years of pertinent experience is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in system modeling and fault analysis software (ASPEN, CAPE, ETAP, or EasyPower), along with proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required.
• Strong expertise in system modeling, relay coordination studies, and the development of relevant protective relay settings for systems ranging from 12.47 kV to 345 kV is necessary.
• Familiarity with the application of NERC PRC standards for compliance is required.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
• Must possess permanent authorization to work in the US.
• A valid driver’s license is required, or the ability to obtain one before the starting date.
