This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of structural engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines and clients.
• Direct a structural engineering team on projects related to nuclear facilities.
• Prepare, assess, and offer guidance on design calculations.
• Create specifications and collaborate with designers for the development of drawings.
• Prepare, review, or oversee the structural analysis and design of different concrete and steel structures.
• Travel to client and vendor locations for design evaluations and site coordination.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience as part of a project team in the design and analysis of nuclear facility structures.
• Expertise in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
• Knowledge of design codes and standards including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, N690, ACI 318, and ACI 349.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
