Lead Strategic Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Address intricate, open-ended, cross-functional business inquiries and navigate ambiguity.

• Assess business models, revenue sources, growth drivers, and sustainability factors.

• Link individual business performance to the overall consolidated view.

• Develop financial models and analyses from scratch.

• Locate, access, and verify data utilizing SQL and BI tools.

• Enhance in-year and long-term forecasting techniques, drivers, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Manage the monthly and quarterly finance cycle, which includes reviews and reporting.

• Question assumptions and pinpoint risks and opportunities.

• Transform complex analyses into actionable recommendations for senior finance and business executives.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to structure ambiguous challenges.

• Proficient in financial modeling, including driver-based models and three-statement analysis.

• Direct experience handling data with SQL or a similar querying tool.

• Familiarity with using a BI platform.

• Strong business curiosity and the skill to delve into business drivers.

• Ability to question assumptions and establish trustworthy relationships with business partners.

• Effective communication skills for both finance and non-finance audiences.

• Experience in a complex business environment with multiple revenue streams or business models.

• Willingness to work within EST/EDT hours.
