Lead Solution Specialist, Cloud – DaaS

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical lifecycle of key Citrix DaaS solutions, from initial presentation to adoption.

• Conduct impactful product demonstrations.

• Facilitate architectural sessions.

• Manage Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

• Align solutions with customer priorities and develop ROI-based business cases.

• Set deployment and adoption milestones.

• Address complex technical issues during the initial onboarding of customers.

• Take ownership of the complete technical validation process.

• Establish success criteria and assist customers throughout PoC deployments.

• Demonstrate the performance and security benefits of the Citrix and Azure stack.

• Provide training on Cloud & DaaS capabilities, highlighting the technical and business advantages of using Citrix for managing Azure and Windows 365 workloads.

• Gather market trends, adoption barriers, and competitive intelligence from customers.

• Relay customer insights to Product Management to influence the Citrix DaaS roadmap.

• Keep precise customer detail plans and progress updates in the core CRM system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert-level understanding of Citrix DaaS.

• Extensive technical expertise with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Entra ID, Azure Networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, Peering), and Azure Storage strategies.

• Over 7 years of experience in a technical presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering role within the VDI/DaaS or Cloud Infrastructure domain.

• Demonstrated success in designing and migrating complex enterprise workloads from on-premises data centers to public cloud infrastructure.

• Capability to model cloud costs and articulate the ROI of hybrid-cloud models compared to native solutions.

• Knowledge of Identity Management (SAML, OAuth, MFA), Enterprise Security (Zero Trust, SASE), Endpoint Management (Intune, SCCM, thin client), and Observability and Monitoring (DEX, IT Ops).

• Exceptional presentation and whiteboarding abilities.

• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).

• Preferred certifications: Citrix Certified Expert/Professional (CCE-V, CCP-V) or DaaS Service certifications.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

• Willingness to travel within the North American region to customer sites and industry events (~30%).

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German or French is advantageous.
