Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack - Shopping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse range of technology projects and lead a team of developers who possess extensive expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems.

• Develop solutions that address the regulatory requirements of the organization.

• Keep abreast of technology trends, engaging in experimentation and learning of new technologies.

• Actively participate in both internal and external technology communities.

• Provide mentorship to other members within the engineering community.

• Collaborate effectively with digital product managers.

• Employ JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience is not applicable.

• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree.

• Preferred: 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Node.JS, or Go.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.

• Preferred: 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.

• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in people management.

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.

• Experience in utilizing interactive AI tools beyond basic code completion.
