Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable RESTful API endpoints for the AI platform.

• Build and enhance backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) to manage agent lifecycle, deployment, and monitoring.

• Contribute to the development of secure authentication and authorization systems that support a multi-tenant architecture.

• Create efficient data access layers and database schemas for the operations of AI agents.

• Implement asynchronous task processing for extensive AI workflows.

• Collaborate with IC5 engineers on backend architecture and SDK designs, influencing technical direction while promoting execution.

• Mentor IC3 engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and the promotion of best practices.

• Ensure quality and reliability through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance with security standards.

• Remain informed about contemporary backend and AI/agentic frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of backend development experience, with substantial expertise in building scalable Python applications and APIs.

• Proficient in modern Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django REST Framework, Flask).

• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).

• Practical knowledge of distributed systems or microservices.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing.

• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) or a keen interest in learning.

• Preferred experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and impact technical decision-making.
