Lead Software Architect – Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Guide the team in designing, reviewing, and evolving scalable, secure, and sustainable architectures.

• Support decisions regarding microservices, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud infrastructure, and architectural standards.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring clarity, maintainability, documentation, traceability, and adherence to defined standards.

• Identify bottlenecks in infrastructure, databases, APIs, integrations, and microservices.

• Technically lead the response to production incidents, organizing hypotheses, actions, responsibilities, and next steps.

• Map, organize, and prioritize technical debts based on risk, criticality, impact, maintenance cost, and incident frequency.

• Identify bottlenecks in the engineering flow, such as rework, blockages, low predictability, communication failures, and quality issues.

• Monitor engineering metrics to guide decisions, including DORA Metrics.

• Ensure the health of CI/CD pipelines, support the evolution of pipelines, automation, testing, and quality controls.

• Promote secure development throughout the engineering cycle.

• Mentor developers by providing guidance, feedback, support in decision-making, and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

• Previous experience in technical leadership, mentoring developers, or providing technical support to engineering teams.
