Lead Senior Wind Hub Technician – Fire Island

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Hub Manager to fulfill contractual obligations as per customer specifications.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, or part replacements to rectify malfunctions.

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.

• Assist site operations as instructed with minimal oversight.

• Record all work completed using computer-based service reporting practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• At least 4 years of experience in wind troubleshooting, along with a minimum of 1 year in EHS, SQC, or a Lead role, OR a minimum of 5 years of experience in wind troubleshooting.

• Successful completion of a Technical Knowledge Assessment.

• Basic computer proficiency is necessary.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time is essential.

• Capability to handle repetitive lifting of 50 lbs. and to climb towers up to 300 feet daily.

• Ability and readiness to work in diverse environments (industrial, manufacturing, power industry).

• Effective prioritization skills in line with contract obligations.

• Initiative to work independently without direct supervision.

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and be on-call as required.
