
Lead, Sales – K12 Regional Midwest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +5 more states.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, and retain a robust and diverse team of sales representatives, ensuring a seamless onboarding process and a positive first-year experience for newcomers.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, continuous improvement, and customer focus through regular coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Guide team members in proactive strategic selling, territory planning, pipeline management, account strategy development, and effective sales execution.
• Ensure accountability for KPIs, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and critical milestones throughout the sales process via ongoing coaching, success planning, and formal performance management when required.
• Establish regional sales strategy and priorities aimed at achieving or surpassing revenue growth and market share objectives across current and emerging business models.
• Create and implement effective regional and account-level sales strategies that provide customer value, learner advancement, and business growth.
• Monitor territory performance, KPIs, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline discipline to ensure accountability and drive business results.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to promote best practices, process enhancements, and scalable customer-focused working methods.
• Bachelor’s degree or a suitable combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Over 5 years of proven sales success in K-12 education, education technology, curriculum solutions, or a related sales field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and cultivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong capabilities in strategic selling, territory management, consultative selling, and account planning.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and communicate data-driven insights and customer value propositions effectively.
• Solid analytical, financial, and business reporting skills with the aptitude to make data-informed decisions.
• Proven problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve customer and business outcomes.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Tableau, sales reporting tools, Microsoft Office applications, and relevant business systems such as Gong and Vidyard.
• Participate in Pearson’s sales incentive plan.
