This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with Enterprise clients to comprehend their business needs, use cases, and data replication specifications.
• Create and present technical demonstrations to Enterprise audiences.
• Secure technical success by managing a structured proof-of-value process.
• Partner closely with various cross-functional teams to drive enhancements and changes within Fivetran.
• Work in tandem with multiple Sales representatives while upholding a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends within our sector.
• Support team members in overcoming advanced technical or business challenges.
• Native or professional proficiency in German.
• Over 5 years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical domain.
• Strong technical foundation in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies, including hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with modern data analytics technologies, such as cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, data catalogs, and BI tools.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience using other data replication or ETL tools.
• Background in self-hosted software applications and their supporting infrastructure.
• Hands-on networking experience in both cloud and on-premise environments.
