This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, write, and implement test plans for new features spanning web, API, and backend systems.
• Build and sustain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites for a stack utilizing TypeScript and Python.
• Execute regression and performance testing prior to significant releases.
• Detect, document, and confirm bugs in collaboration with engineers.
• Take ownership of and enhance the test automation framework.
• Incorporate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assess APIs and their load behavior using tools like Postman or k6.
• Enhance observability through logging, alerts, and dashboards.
• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to comprehend workflows and pinpoint high-risk areas.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
• Record and standardize QA processes.
• Engage in code reviews, release planning, and sprint retrospectives.
• 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, test automation, or software testing.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, as well as frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Jest.
• Familiarity with Python testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
• Experience in testing REST/GraphQL APIs and conducting end-to-end web application testing.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, Git, and CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions, Render, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Nice to have: experience in testing AI/ML systems, data pipelines, or model outputs.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Temporal, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, or FastAPI.
• Nice to have: experience in performance or security testing.

• $80K–$130K base salary range
