This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.
• Oversee various Civil OSP design projects from their inception to final completion.
• Create and uphold project timelines, production strategies, resource estimates, and delivery benchmarks.
• Facilitate activities related to engineering, CAD, permitting, utilities, and construction support.
• Assess performance in relation to project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality goals.
• Recognize project risks, formulate mitigation plans, and escalate critical concerns when necessary.
• Act as the main point of contact between design teams, program leadership, clients, and external parties.
• Develop and enforce QA/QC protocols for Civil OSP design outputs.
• Oversee quality review processes and carry out technical evaluations of design documents.
• Ensure adherence to client specifications, permitting standards, and industry norms.
• Monitor quality indicators, recurring issues, and corrective action strategies.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement enhancements to processes.
• Supervise design production across various projects and locations.
• Coordinate both internal and external resources, manage workload distribution, and forecast production needs.
• Generate reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Confirm that deliverables meet production standards before submission to clients.
• Lead status updates and multidisciplinary coordination sessions with clients, utilities, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project advancements, risks, quality metrics, and mitigation tactics.
• Manage review feedback and resolution workflows.
• Assist in proposals, scope definition, project planning, and change management processes.
• Create SOPs, QA/QC checklists, and production workflows.
• Apply lessons learned and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote the standardization of design review procedures and aid in KPI development.
• Utilize digital tools and reporting systems to enhance project visibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field, along with 2 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Proven experience in managing infrastructure, telecommunications, utility, or engineering projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience in overseeing Civil OSP design initiatives and underground utility infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery performance.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and engineering review standards.
• Experience supporting fiber optic, broadband, hyperscale, municipal, or utility infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong grasp of underground conduit systems, duct banks, utility coordination, and right-of-way stipulations.
• Experience managing design teams distributed across various locations.
• Knowledge of permitting procedures, DOT requirements, NEC, NESC, and local jurisdictional standards.
• Experience in providing construction-phase services and resolving field issues.
• Candidates must submit relevant Autodesk Civil 3D design examples.
