This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Spearhead the creation of pricing strategies for new business opportunities, renewals, and strategic client expansions.
• Evaluate extensive healthcare data and develop comprehensive pricing models that encompass utilization, PMPM trends, network economics, and administrative cost assumptions.
• Convert clinical, network, and operational assumptions into clear and defensible financial models.
• Establish and maintain benchmarks for various lines of business utilizing historical utilization, cost, and performance trends to guide pricing assumptions and proposal strategies.
• Examine historical trends to pinpoint key cost and utilization drivers, variability, and risks across different products, markets, and populations.
• Execute scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and margin assessments to inform pricing decisions aimed at achieving competitive advantage.
• Prepare and deliver pricing insights, financial justifications, and trade-off analyses to executive stakeholders and health plan partners.
• Oversee the complete pricing workflow for proposals, covering intake, prioritization, modeling, review, and final submission.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Growth, Product, Network, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment of technical, operational, and financial elements.
• Generate executive-ready pricing summaries and recommendations for review by leadership.
• Facilitate discussions with health plan partners by clearly articulating pricing assumptions, utilization drivers, and value propositions.
• Partner with Finance to track performance, conduct variance analysis, and continuously refine pricing assumptions.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of pricing tools, templates, benchmarking frameworks, and governance processes.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare pricing, proposal analytics, financial analysis, or revenue management.
• More than 4 years of advanced skills in SQL, Excel (including PowerPivot and Power Query), and Power BI.
• Experience in pricing healthcare services, managed care arrangements, specialty healthcare solutions, and reimbursement models.
• Proven ability to work with complex, large datasets and translate assumptions into clear financial insights.
• Strong analytical skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting pricing recommendations to senior leadership effectively.
• Competence in managing multiple simultaneous proposals in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
