This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the technical implementation of environmental site assessments and remediation initiatives.
• Create effective solutions for intricate environmental issues.
• Analyze geological and environmental data while performing technical evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Draft and evaluate technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, invoicing, and execution.
• Help manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
• Coordinate efforts among multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Provide mentorship to geologists, scientists, and junior team members.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and suggest corrective measures.
• Offer technical Quality Assurance/Quality Control on project outputs.
• Convey project updates, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Aid in proposal development, cost estimation, and business growth activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental investigation and remediation projects, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in California.
• Experience with site assessments, remedial investigations, and environmental compliance.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight stays when necessary.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
• Preferred: experience serving as a technical lead in project management.
• Preferred: background in preparing proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
• Preferred: familiarity with project financial management, invoicing, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Preferred: interest in client engagement and business development.
• Preferred: experience leading multidisciplinary environmental consulting teams.
• Preferred: experience with Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Risk Assessments.
