This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop integrated schedules and cost estimates for tenders.
• Create project schedules and budgets utilizing cost and scheduling tools.
• Ensure adherence to the Global Standard process for Project Controls.
• Align project budgets with sold values in the relevant systems.
• Maintain project schedules and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze trends in schedules and costs, providing forecasts to project teams.
• Keep records of potential schedule and cost risks.
• Maintain logs of actual and committed costs.
• Monitor and control cost movements against project scope, progress, previous forecasts, and productivity factors.
• Communicate schedule and cost status, forecasts, and risks to functional cost owners.
• Drive and support initiatives for risk mitigation.
• Provide both internal and external project status reports.
• Collaborate with external parties regarding project costs and schedules.
• Present financial data clearly during project and management reviews.
• Calculate change orders as needed.
• Update changes in the appropriate systems.
• Work with the Finance Controller to reconcile approved project financial data with the accounting records.
• Assist in project closeout and claims management.
• Offer support during the tender process.
• Oversee the project planning function.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of project controls reporting, budgets, actuals, and forecasts.
• Work with functional cost owners to develop cost-reduction strategies.
• Ensure alignment with established Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), processes, procedures, and standards for tool usage.
• Strive for efficiency and effectiveness within the project cost-control team where applicable.
• Comply with quality procedures, work instructions, and processes.
• Report or address any non-conformances.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and optimization, participating in Kaizen or similar lean events.
• Exhibit a commitment to safety and engage in resolving safety-related issues.
• Monitor schedule quality, cost forecasting quality, schedule forecasting quality, project performance, and reporting timeliness.
• Hold a degree in finance or engineering with relevant financial training.
• Have 5+ years of experience planning large turnkey projects.
• Possess cost-control experience on 2 or more large turnkey projects.
• Have lead-planner experience on 2 or more turnkey projects.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of planning and Primavera software.
• Understand cost-control functions on large, complex turnkey projects.
• Possess knowledge of forensic analysis applicable to large, complex turnkey projects.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
