This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop integrated schedules and cost estimates for tenders.
• Create project schedules and budgets utilizing cost and scheduling tools.
• Ensure adherence to Global Standard Project Controls protocols.
• Align project budgets with as-sold figures in relevant systems.
• Maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and a register of schedule/cost risks and actual/committed expenses.
• Analyze trends in schedule and cost, providing forecasts to the project team.
• Review cost movements in relation to scope, progress, prior forecasts, and productivity metrics.
• Communicate the status of schedule, cost, forecasts, and risks to functional cost owners and aid in mitigation efforts.
• Deliver internal and external project status reports.
• Collaborate with third parties regarding project costs and schedules.
• Present financial data and cost status during project and management reviews.
• Calculate change orders and update systems to reflect current conditions.
• Reconcile approved project financial data with accounting records in conjunction with the Finance Controller.
• Assist with project closeout, claims, and tenders.
• Supervise project planning and ensure the quality and accuracy of project controls reporting.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives with functional cost owners.
• Ensure compliance with WBS, processes, procedures, and tool usage standards.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and engage in Kaizen or similar lean events.
• Take part in safety discussions and address or enhance health and safety concerns.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering with financial training.
• Over 5 years of experience in planning large turnkey projects.
• Experience in cost control on at least 2 large turnkey projects.
• Proven lead planner experience on a minimum of 2 turnkey projects.
• Extensive knowledge of planning and Primavera.
• Understanding of cost control for large, complex turnkey projects.
• Familiarity with forensic analysis on large, complex turnkey projects.
