Lead Product Partnerships Manager – Fixed Term Contract

📋 Description

• Identify and establish new partnerships with both existing and prospective technology platform collaborators.

• Work closely with Product and Design teams to outline and implement a range of non-commercial value exchange partnerships that further the strategic objectives of the P&T department.

• Assist in the design and implementation of pilots with key Wikimedia content reusers, enhancing attribution visibility through the adoption of the Wikimedia Attribution Framework and API.

• Collaborate across teams and departments to develop and maintain a current pipeline of partners and opportunities.

• Oversee partnership processes and documentation, including drafting Letters of Intent/Memorandums of Understanding, managing CRM systems, creating pitch presentations, and liaising with other Partnerships staff across different teams and departments.

• Represent our organization at relevant conferences, events, and gatherings, while sharing insights on industry trends related to products and technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in forming and managing high-level, multi-stakeholder partnerships, especially within the technology and/or media sectors, with a proven ability to work independently in a lead capacity.

• Existing Network: Strong connections within the media and technology landscape, particularly in AI, social media, and EdTech platforms.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of influencing both internal and external stakeholders in a complex, consensus-driven, and cross-cultural environment.

• Analytical mindset capable of uncovering and independently evaluating insights from partners and market conditions.

• Experience in program and project management, including managing workflows, communications, scheduling with partners, and tracking action items.

• A strong passion for the mission and values of the Wikimedia movement.
