Lead Product Designer – AI and Platform Experience

📋 Description

• Develop the product and design strategy for Cisco Cloud Control, an innovative AI-first platform that integrates various Cisco products.

• Design and enhance platform frameworks and patterns that connect multiple Cisco offerings.

• Define and implement AI-driven, agentic, and generative user interface experiences.

• Utilize enterprise platform thinking to create modular and extensible systems that scale across diverse products and use cases.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to shape product direction.

• Deliver seamless end-to-end user journeys.

• Advocate for interaction design, visual craftsmanship, prototyping, and design storytelling.

• Elevate product quality and execution standards.

• Employ AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows to explore ideas, test concepts, accelerate iterations, and communicate intricate platform experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in designing complex enterprise platform experiences that connect multiple products or services.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and launching AI-powered or AI-native product experiences where AI significantly influences the end-user workflow.

• Proficient in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design for complex enterprise or technical environments.

• Experience working collaboratively across Product, Engineering, and Research teams from concept through to delivery.

• Ability to influence product or design decisions across teams.

• Preferred: experience designing AI-native products in an AI-centric company or startup, or being part of a team that integrates emerging AI capabilities into production.

• Preferred: a portfolio showcasing strong visual craftsmanship, systems thinking, scalable design methodologies, and clear end-to-end storytelling.

• Preferred: experience with system-level, cross-product platforms that support enterprise-scale solutions.

• Preferred: advanced skills in AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows.

• Preferred: knowledge of emerging AI and UX trends, including ethical, usable, accessible, trustworthy, and scalable integration.
