Lead Process & Solutions Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement SAP Financials solutions and services, which encompass projects, enhancements, and application support.

• Work in collaboration with Flowers business teams, internal IT partners, and management.

• Oversee multiple financial accounting subprocesses.

• Prioritize project, enhancement, and support requests in coordination with business and IT stakeholders while managing delivery.

• Develop system requirements, design, configure, and prototype SAP FICO solutions.

• Partner with IT teams to implement changes and assist finance users with testing and training.

• Establish support procedures and deploy SAP FICO business solutions within various deadlines.

• Create functional design documents for enhancements, integrations, and data conversions.

• Develop business process functional diagrams, test plans, test scripts, and training materials.

• Carry out SAP FICO functional activities alongside Business Relationship Management, SAP CoE teams, managed services providers, and third-party application service providers.

• Ensure consistency and maintainability of SAP financial and management accounting applications.

• Establish, maintain, and enforce technical and quality standards, guidance, and reference architectures.

• Assess SAP FICO upgrade functionalities and support upgrade rollouts with infrastructure and operations teams.

• Assist analysts and developers in resolving issues.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and provide actionable recommendations.

• Evaluate emerging SAP and IT technologies against strategic business needs and interpret business value for IT management.

• Perform other duties essential to the role, including adhering to work schedules, attendance policies, and operating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in SAP FICO application design, development, quality assurance, testing, training, implementation, and support processes.

• 1+ years of experience in an IT management and leadership position.

• Experience with at least one full life-cycle SAP implementation in FICO and related integrations and bolt-ons such as SAP BPC (or Hyperion), Blackline, Vertex, and other third-party supporting applications.

• Proficient in using ASAP, Agile, and other SDLC methodologies.

• Experience leading SAP FICO processes and integrating them with end-to-end process design.

• Proven ability to build cross-organizational consensus with exposure to technology providers and/or business clients.

• In-depth experience with full life-cycle SAP implementation in FICO within North America.

• Experience integrating SAP FICO solutions into non-legacy technologies and architectures.

• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.

• CPA designation is preferred.
