Lead Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop technical specifications for new features, capabilities, enterprise initiatives, and platform improvements for Prodigy.

• Simplify intricate workflows into cohesive application experiences.

• Convert solution and network diagrams, Swagger definitions, and REST API integrations into precise requirements and business process flows.

• Work collaboratively with Business Product Owners, UI Engineers, and Designers within an agile setting.

• Guide other Business Analysts, promoting ideation, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-focused decision-making.

• Oversee the refinement backlog through regular refinement sessions and sprint planning.

• Link Hilton's business, technology, and core architecture teams to outline technology requirements and convert them into actionable solutions.

• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, development, and testing teams to implement functionality and enterprise capabilities.

• Resolve ambiguities, devise solutions, and eliminate obstacles in a dynamic agile environment.

• Track weekly/monthly roadmap advancements and pinpoint risks and obstacles.

• Organize requirements in the refinement backlog.

• Produce monthly deliverables including release notes and product assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Technology and Product, or a related field.

• At least three (3) years of experience in the product domain, providing detailed requirements to UX designers and front-end UI engineers.

• Strong proficiency with Jira for managing user stories and comprehensive technical UI requirements.

• Knowledge of the existing software delivery lifecycle and the application of AI tools to enhance the process.

• Experience with REST API integrations.

• Proficient in understanding Swagger file definitions (YAML/JSON).

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree with 6+ years of relevant Technology/Product experience, or a High School Degree/GED with 12+ years of Technology/Product experience.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.

• At least five (5) years of experience in the product space delivering detailed requirements to UX designers and front-end UI engineers.

• Two (2) years of experience in managing team members.

• Two (2) years of experience with Figma and other design systems.
