Lead Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal technical authority and lead architect for enterprise ICAM platforms.

• Create and develop extensive ICAM architecture solutions.

• Spearhead the architectural design and implementation of Okta platform features.

• Oversee the architectural design and implementation of SailPoint Identity Governance solutions.

• Develop and sustain the comprehensive ICAM platform roadmap.

• Design and manage the integration of Okta and SailPoint platforms with enterprise systems.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to ICAM engineers.

• Collaborate with information system security managers, security architects, and government stakeholders.

• Lead technical design reviews, architecture review boards, and platform governance initiatives.

• Assess and recommend emerging ICAM technologies, tools, and platforms.

• Create and maintain authoritative technical documentation.

• Assist with the ATO process by providing architectural insights.

• Work alongside cloud architects and DevSecOps teams.

• Guide troubleshooting and resolution of intricate technical challenges.

• Interact directly with government stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Foster the adoption of automation, AI-driven capabilities, and intelligent workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution; equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Over 8 years of experience in identity and access management, with progressively increasing technical responsibility leading to an architectural or senior engineering leadership position.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale Okta and/or SailPoint solutions.

• Proven experience in architecting ICAM solutions within a federal government context.

• Active Secret Clearance is required.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with the Okta platform.

• Significant hands-on expertise with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale ICAM architectures.

• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of federal ICAM frameworks and identity management standards.

• Proven capability to develop thorough technical documentation.

• Experience in integrating ICAM platforms with enterprise applications.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (AAD/Entra ID), and LDAP directory services.

• Experience in supporting ATO processes and contributing to federal security documentation.

• Proven ability to provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineering teams within a federal IT environment.
