Lead PHP/Symfony Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create backend functionalities that support business objectives and meet customer demands

• Enhance and sustain test coverage utilizing PHPUnit

• Develop scalable, testable APIs and backend architectures

• Produce clean, maintainable code that adheres to established quality standards

• Analyze requirements and provide technical insights and feedback

• Work in close collaboration with product, design, and QA teams

• Oversee systems and address issues as part of a rotating on-call duty

• Decompose larger projects into manageable tasks and assist others in their execution

• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive criticism

• Implement secure coding practices ensuring code is devoid of known vulnerabilities

• Document features, processes, and architecture for the benefit of team-wide knowledge sharing

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with PHP

• More than 3 years of direct experience with Symfony

• At least 2 years of experience writing unit tests using PHPUnit

• Extensive experience with MongoDB

• Strong background in Design Patterns (Object Oriented)
