This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Facilitate the successful realization of projects and initiatives by equipping stakeholders to adapt to organizational change.
• Create, implement, and manage change management strategies and plans.
• Lead workshops focused on business processes to analyze current and future-state operations.
• Evaluate impacts on the organization and specific roles, providing targeted communication support.
• Collaborate with training specialists to design end-user training programs.
• Establish measurement methods for adoption, usage, and proficiency metrics.
• Provide regular updates to project leadership and highlight risks along with mitigation strategies.
• Formulate change management plans addressing people, processes, workflows, and systems.
• Employ structured change management methodologies, including stakeholder analysis, coaching, communication, training, and resistance management.
• Conduct readiness assessments, interpret findings, and deliver results to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Integrate change management initiatives into overall project plans in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to stakeholders, leaders, managers, and project teams.
• Identify risks associated with people, points of resistance, and create mitigation strategies.
• Build and lead sponsorship coalitions while partnering with executive sponsors.
• Provide consultations and training on organizational change.
• Suggest communication and training strategies and initiatives.
• Advocate for enhancements in change management and project processes.
• Develop and evaluate communications, training, change management, and project lifecycle procedures.
• Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, regulations, and relevant technologies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Behavioral Psychology, Business, or a related field, along with 5 years of pertinent experience in establishing and executing organizational change management and support is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience collaborating with consulting resources is preferred.
• Background in higher education, a large medical center, or a significant, complex, distributed enterprise is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and the ability to convey clear messages to diverse audiences.
• Proficient group facilitation skills with the capability to transform session notes into high-quality outputs.
• Ability to inspire others towards a shared vision or goal.
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues, and staff.
• Capacity to work effectively both collaboratively and independently.
• Strong business insight and comprehension of organizational challenges and issues.
• Excellent organizational problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Prosci Organizational Change Management certification is preferred.
