Lead Locksmith Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• The Lead Locksmith Technician role is a crucial component of Flylock Security Solutions Oakland and plays a significant role in the company's expansion.

• Capable of executing emergency work orders exclusively for commercial clients.

• Proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of both Commercial and Residential hardware.

• Experience with Safe and Card Access systems is highly advantageous.

• Competent in the installation, repair, and upkeep of Access Control Hardware.

• Skilled in modifying hardware for locks.

• Able to design and manage master key systems.

• Conduct re-keying of locks for both Residential and Commercial needs/ Perform Pining of locks.

• Capable of interpreting various instructions in written, diagram, or schedule formats.

• Proficient in troubleshooting diverse situations with multiple variables.

• Able to clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and service the equipment used.

• Proficient in reading operating and maintenance instructions, along with procedure manuals.

• Capable of writing simple correspondence.

• Able to effectively present information to customers and commercial clients.

• Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.

• Skilled in cutting keys by code.

• Operations Support: Able to receive verbal instructions from Management or Clients/Customers.

• Execute small projects as directed by Management.

• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and punctually.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on technical experience in locksmithing, access control, door hardware, and other skilled trades.

• Strong relationship-building skills with a diverse range of individuals, including customers, partners, technicians, and fellow employees.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Able to function effectively as part of a team.

• Able to work safely on ladders.

• Must comply with company vehicle policy while driving.

• Deliver a high level of prompt and accurate customer service.

• Communicate effectively with clients to ascertain required services.

• Must be fluent in understanding, speaking, and writing in English.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Capable of kneeling, crouching, and stooping.

• Able to reach above and below the shoulders.

• Proficient in using hands and fingers for grasping, twisting, and pulling.

• Able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.

• Must withstand varying external weather conditions throughout the year.
