Lead HVAC Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Ensure the continued exceptional functionality of Budderfly HVAC Units within the designated area.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.

• Identify potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.

• Diagnose both electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC/R systems.

• Conduct commissioning checks for HVAC Units, which includes verifying and adjusting RTU controller configurations and mechanical operations.

• Execute physical maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and checking units for mechanical failures.

• Respond to emergency service requests during nights and weekends when on-call.

• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, along with performing warranty services.

• Carry out emergency repairs quickly and effectively.

• Maintain daily logs and records in the Company's work order system.

• Ensure adherence to relevant State and Federal regulations, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

• Follow service standards, work instructions, and meet customers' requirements.

• Assist in addressing customers' inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems.

• A Specialty Contractor license with the S350 classification is required.

• EPA Certification is mandatory.

• Experience with HVAC Controls is essential.

• Familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.

• Ability to identify control and mechanical problems before they escalate.

• Passion for continuous learning, both technically and professionally, supported by the organization.

• Willingness to travel within Cincinnati, OH, and nearby regions.
