This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage global proposal activities specific to outsourced HRSG projects.
• Create functional specifications that outline thermal performance, mechanical requirements, materials, and interfaces for HRSG vendors.
• Engage with HRSG vendors during the bidding process to assess technical proposals, clarify requirements, and evaluate compliance.
• Work in conjunction with the commercial team during the ITO phase on technical scoping, performance estimation, scheduling, and cost inputs.
• Take ownership of technical application engineering for the Hot Selective Catalytic Reduction system, which includes system configuration.
• Establish Hot SCR functional specifications and interface requirements for integration within the exhaust gas pathway.
• Collaborate with environmental permitting teams and clients to achieve regulatory NOx reduction goals and emissions standards.
• Promote service, quality, and timeliness objectives while adhering to defined policy guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal power plant engineering, HRSG systems, or similar engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine combined cycle power plant applications.
• Extensive technical expertise in combined cycle plant thermodynamics and the water-steam cycle.
• Practical experience in HRSG thermal design, performance modeling, or vendor specification development.
• Understanding of Hot SCR systems, catalyst technology, NOx control strategies, and exhaust gas path integration.
• Experience in developing functional specifications for major equipment sourced from vendors in a power generation setting.
• Proficiency in using heat balance tools and thermal modeling software.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Capability to analyze and solve complex technical issues across system interfaces.
• Ability to document, plan, and carry out programs with established project management practices.
• Experience with multi-vendor bidding processes, technical proposal assessments, and contract technical alignment is highly desirable.
• Eligible to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.
