• Take ownership of the complete employee lifecycle for your location with complete autonomy, encompassing promotions, transfers, international relocations, and terminations.
• Act as the main escalation point for all HR Operations issues at your location; resolve these matters swiftly, accurately, and with sound judgment.
• Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for both office and data center staff, developing scalable programs that can adapt as headcount increases.
• Assist in the onboarding of new HR Operations team members at your location and across the team as necessary, ensuring they have the appropriate tools, context, and knowledge of processes to contribute effectively.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Immigration, and Legal as an equal partner, rather than a support function.
• Spearhead complex or high-profile HR Operations projects for your location, working closely with the Head of Country HR Operations.
• Establish, document, and continually enhance team standards, playbooks, and best practices that the broader HR Operations team can implement globally.
• Take charge of data quality, governance, and integrity for your location in HiBob; you set the benchmark, rather than merely adhering to it.
• Drive the automation and AI initiatives for your location and contribute to team-wide efforts. A key priority for the HR Operations team this year is to eliminate manual and repetitive tasks through smarter processes and tools.
• Serve as the operational subject matter expert for new system implementations or module rollouts at your location.
• Ensure that all employee files, records, and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of employment law in your location, including any union relations, works council obligations, or sector-specific regulatory requirements.
• Actively identify compliance risks and provide solutions, not just alerts.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related area.
• 5-8 years of progressive HR Operations experience, with a minimum of 2 years at a senior level with full ownership of a location.
• Extensive proficiency with HiBob or comparable HRIS platforms, including data governance, workflow design, and system administration.
• Proven experience managing HR Operations and compliance across multiple countries or jurisdictions.
• Experience working in or alongside data center, manufacturing, or other critical physical infrastructure environments.
• Established track record of implementing automation and process enhancements throughout the HR Operations lifecycle.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to utilize data to identify risks and inform decisions.
• Sound judgment in handling sensitive, confidential, or legally complex matters.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal; all internal communications, systems, and documentation are in English, regardless of location.
