
Lead Government Attorney – Government Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Oversee and assist with litigation cases, encompassing case strategy, pleadings, motions, hearings, and associated proceedings.
• Analyze, draft, and interpret legal documents, policies, contracts, regulations, and correspondence.
• Perform legal research and produce concise written analyses, recommendations, and memoranda.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of paralegals.
• Ensure that legal tasks are executed accurately, promptly, and in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external counsel, government entities, and other partners.
• Recognize legal risks and offer practical advice to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Prior government legal experience is mandatory.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is essential.
• Litigation experience is required.
• Experience in Real Estate Acquisition is a PLUS.
• General attorney experience, including legal research, writing, analysis, and advisory functions.
• Excellent judgment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage several priorities and operate independently in a remote environment.
