This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Generate qualified leads for training opportunities through outbound initiatives (email, LinkedIn, cold calling, etc.)
• Guide leads through the sales pipeline leading to successful enrollment in training courses
• Identify qualified opportunities based on established criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline)
• Maintain and update the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) in accordance with company standards
• Assist with research, script development, and execution of year-long campaigns aimed at generating new leads for training services
• Monitor, analyze, and report on lead generation performance metrics on a weekly basis
• Conduct weekly call and email outreach while ensuring high lead quality to meet KPIs
• Implement A/B testing on messaging and outreach strategies to enhance conversion rates
• Research and identify target accounts, industries, and key decision-makers
• Aid in developing and refining ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas
• Engage in cross-functional team meetings and sales meetings to promote collaboration
• Act as a primary and secondary point of contact for customers in partnership with the Training Operations Team.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Shermco’s training service offerings to create compelling value proposition messaging.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related fields is preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience in inside sales, sales development, or lead generation
• 2+ years of experience in selling training courses or related fields is highly desirable
• Comfortable reaching out to prospects via phone calls, emails, or other channels, following the scheduled outreach plan
• Experience with CRM tools - e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot (Preferred)
• Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools - e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Industrial Info Resources, ConstructConnect (Preferred)
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Capacity to handle rejection while maintaining a positive outlook
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
