• Generate qualified leads for training opportunities through outbound campaigns (such as email, LinkedIn, cold calling, etc.).
• Guide leads through the sales pipeline until successful training course enrollment.
• Identify qualified opportunities based on established criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline).
• Maintain and update the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist in research, script development, and execution of year-long scheduled campaigns designed to attract new leads for training services.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on lead generation performance metrics on a weekly basis.
• Perform weekly outreach through calls and emails while ensuring high lead quality to meet KPIs.
• Conduct A/B testing on messaging and outreach techniques to enhance conversion rates.
• Research and identify target accounts, industries, and key decision-makers.
• Aid in creating and refining ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas.
• Engage in cross-functional team meetings and sales meetings to promote team collaboration.
• Act as both primary and secondary points of contact for customers in conjunction with the Training Operations Team.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Shermco’s training service offerings to develop effective value proposition messaging.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related fields is preferred.
• Over 2 years of relevant experience in inside sales, sales development, or lead generation.
• More than 2 years of experience selling training courses or related services is highly desirable.
• Comfortable reaching out to prospects through calls, emails, or other channels, while following the planned outreach schedule.
• Experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce or HubSpot (Preferred).
• Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Industrial Info Resources, and ConstructConnect (Preferred).
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of handling rejection while maintaining a positive outlook.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check.
