This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of all Transactional accounts within a designated geographic area and represent the complete LGC Standards product portfolio to both new and existing clients across various end-markets including Pharma, Biotech, Environmental, and more.
• Discover and secure new prospect opportunities, sourced from a mix of proactive prospecting, qualification efforts in partnership with our marketing team, or leads generated independently.
• Engage actively with customers through emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotations, and drive new sales initiatives.
• Leverage LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect, nurture, close opportunities, and perform continuous territory planning.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to launch new products and work with the core end-market team to monitor competitor activities and trends.
• Manage relevant service cloud cases daily, ensuring tasks are addressed promptly and response times are maintained effectively.
• Master's degree in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field (a combination of educational qualifications and experience will be considered).
• Demonstrated experience in selling technical products utilized in laboratory settings.
• Proven success in account management.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management software (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office suite.
• A solid track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
