Lead Full Stack Engineer – .Net, Vue/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and upkeep of our enterprise software solutions in the insurance sector, providing technical guidance to the team.

• Exhibit proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, offering advice on technology choices, architecture, and best practices.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to comprehend requirements and technical concepts, ensuring cohesive and efficient solutions that deliver a seamless user experience.

• Enhance platform performance to support large datasets and significant user traffic, ensuring a fluid and responsive user experience.

• Conduct and lead code reviews, promote best coding practices, and encourage the adoption of standards to maintain superior code quality.

• Investigate and swiftly resolve bugs to ensure the reliability of the platform.

• Maintain security and compliance by adhering to best practices for securing web applications and following relevant regulations.

• Keep up with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices, guiding the team to remain competitive and innovative.

• Design the platform with scalability and flexibility in mind, allowing for the adaptation of evolving features and changes as the user base expands.

• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers, nurturing their growth and their contributions to the team's goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a history of leading complex SaaS applications.

• At least 2 years in a lead or managerial role, capable of guiding and ensuring the development of teams.

• Strong technical expertise with proficiency in back-end technologies such as .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including Javascript, Vue.js, and/or React.js.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for developing scalable applications.

• Experience with microservices and/or clean architecture.

• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure robust and thoroughly tested code.

• Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing using both front-end and back-end testing libraries.

• Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to create a maintainable and modular architecture that aligns with business domains.

• In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and experience in ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in optimizing performance for high-traffic web applications.

• Experience with container technologies like Docker and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and solutions.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and bug resolution.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical team members from diverse backgrounds.

• A passion for staying current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in software development.
