Lead Forward Deployed Engineer – Migration

📋 Description

• Oversee the scoping, architecture, and strategic direction as the Forward Deployed Engineer team integrates with clients.

• Drive the modernization of clients' data and application ecosystems utilizing the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

• Establish architecture and guidance for teams engaged in designing, developing, and deploying software systems, tools, and automation.

• Create prototypes, participate in feature development, and resolve product-related issues.

• Offer technical advice, mentorship, and training to client teams on data management, analytics, AI/ML, and reporting/BI integration.

• Design scalable data pipelines and contemporary data architectures on Snowflake.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and efficient processing of data.

• Analyze and enhance data models, queries, and data-processing workflows for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Promote Snowflake best practices.

• Assess, recommend, and implement modern data integration tools and methodologies.

• Identify and address technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and operational issues.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor to assist clients in realizing business value and success with Snowflake.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience collaborating with clients on intricate, multi-dimensional projects.

• Experience in executing complex data-driven application migrations is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.

• Familiarity with developing AI/ML applications.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data lake concepts, and cloud data platforms.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a client-facing setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Commitment to following confidentiality and security protocols, ensuring customer information remains secure and confidential.
