Lead – Financial Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Support the preparation, collection, and consolidation of data for all entities of Mashreq Bank to ensure the timely and precise production of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual Group Accounts & Management Information Systems (MIS) in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Aid in the preparation and provision of information to external auditors and UAE Central Bank examiners to facilitate the effective execution of their respective duties.

• Oversee GL maintenance tasks, including managing general ledgers, products, cost centers, project codes, and more.

• Execute Head Office accounting responsibilities, which involve maintaining all accounting records related to the Head Office branch, managing related arrangements, and documenting income from various sources.

• Assist in the preparation, collection, and consolidation of data for all Mashreq Bank entities.

• Ensure the production of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual Group Accounts & MIS in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Support the preparation and provision of information to external auditors and UAE Central Bank examiners to facilitate their respective functions smoothly.

• Responsible for GL maintenance activities such as managing general ledgers, products, cost centers, project codes, etc.

• Perform Head Office accounting functions, including the maintenance of all relevant accounting records for the Head Office branch and related arrangements, as well as the recording of income from other sources.
