This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver actionable insights that influence business decisions by leveraging finance and data analytics.
• Take ownership of the data warehouse strategy, governance, and execution of the finance ledger.
• Develop and lead a Center of Excellence for reporting, including managing infrastructure and metrics across finance and various business units.
• Create, manage, implement, and monitor the success of the Finance AI automation roadmap in collaboration with FP&A, accounting, and data teams.
• Establish the foundation for data pipelines and AI models.
• Collaborate with engineering and Financial Operations to understand and optimize our GCP infrastructure costs.
• Position Finance as the authoritative source for financial and business performance, while creating self-service analytics for key stakeholders.
• Lead a team consisting of 4 engineers and 1 finance and strategy manager.
• Establish internal controls and assist with external audits related to data governance.
• A minimum of 15 years of work experience in travel and/or SaaS industries.
• Bachelor's Degree is required, with a strong preference for a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• An engineering background is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, GCP, and Data Science, with hands-on coding capabilities.
• Understanding of LLM-based systems, prompt design, and AI model evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and observability tools (e.g., Amplitude, Datadog, Looker) to evaluate reliability and performance.
• Strong skills in data reconciliation across large, multi-source datasets.
• A tendency towards first-principles thinking—questioning assumptions, stress-testing processes, and consistently asking why certain processes function as they do.
• Effective communicator with senior leadership and external partners.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and build from the ground up.
