This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide technical expertise and assistance for complex technical challenges, both remotely and on-site.
• Install and configure automation equipment, sensors, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement solutions that address customer requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to offer recommendations for enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare evaluation reports, analyze discrepancies, and suggest improvements to procedures and operational processes that enhance productivity and quality while reducing flow time.
• Troubleshoot and repair intricate electrical and electronic issues involving equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and external Input/Output (I/O) devices.
• Conduct activities safely and healthily, adhering to established HSE requirements to protect employees, the public, and the environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to guarantee system reliability and compliance with codes.
• Respond to urgent service calls and resolve system impairments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as necessary.
• Conduct inspections and testing of safety devices.
• Perform routine inspections and functional testing of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Accurately complete inspection/change out reports and submit documentation promptly.
• Identify system deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
• Install, program, and commission fire alarm systems, including panels, detectors, notification appliances, and associated hardware.
• YOU MUST HAVE
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in field service engineering, focusing on complex technical solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Capability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
• Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
