This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the principal technical authority and subject matter expert for LabVantage LIMS throughout the organization.
• Establish LIMS architecture, solution design standards, development methodologies, and governance frameworks.
• Spearhead enhancements, implementations, upgrades, migrations, modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives for LabVantage.
• Evaluate and endorse technical designs, configurations, customizations, and integration strategies.
• Design, configure, customize, and enhance LabVantage modules for R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Stability, and Regulatory workflows.
• Create and manage workflows, business rules, automation processes, data models, and system configurations.
• Lead sophisticated custom development utilizing LabVantage technologies.
• Ensure that enhancements adhere to SDLC, CSV, change management, and validation protocols.
• Conduct code reviews and set development standards.
• Design and support API, web service, middleware, and file-based integrations.
• Propel laboratory automation through instrument connectivity and data acquisition.
• Provide technical leadership for global L3 support and critical incident management.
• Lead root cause analysis and establish preventive measures for production issues.
• Ensure adherence to GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, and global regulatory standards.
• Establish documentation standards, SOPs, and governance processes.
• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions and lead workshops, design sessions, and requirements gathering.
• Mentor and guide LIMS engineers, developers, administrators, and offshore delivery teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting LIMS platforms, with substantial hands-on experience in LabVantage LIMS.
• Profound expertise in LabVantage architecture, configurations, workflows, forms, business rules, and platform administration.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale LabVantage implementations and upgrade projects.
• Strong comprehension of laboratory operations across R&D, QC, Stability, Manufacturing, and Regulatory functions.
• Background in designing and implementing enterprise integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, and messaging platforms.
• Proficient knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases, including database optimization and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST/SOAP services, and modern integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics platforms that support laboratory environments.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, application hosting, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
