Lead Engineer – Enterprise CMS Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transition process from AEM to Sanity CMS, guaranteeing a seamless migration and data accuracy.

• Create and execute backend solutions utilizing Node.js and TypeScript to facilitate Sanity integration.

• Work alongside frontend teams to modify React components styled with Chakra UI for the updated CMS framework.

• Set up and launch the application on AWS clusters, ensuring both scalability and reliability.

• Offer technical support and mentorship to team members throughout the migration initiative.

• Record migration workflows, architectural choices, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale CMS migrations, particularly with Sanity CMS.

• High level of expertise in Node.js and TypeScript (versions 2 through 5).

• Familiarity with React and styling based on component libraries (e.g., Chakra UI).

• Understanding of headless CMS architectures and proficiency in Sanity’s GROQ query language.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS deployment and cloud infrastructure.
